Day ONE
Second day of my arrival to NY was the first day of my program. Got to see Kate Gilmore's public performance @ Bryant Park; the exhibition "Mapping New York's Shoreline: 1609-2009 @ the NY Public Library; a talk at the Tenement Museum on "The First Tycoon: The Epic Life of Cornelius Vanderbilt". Of course, got to see other things on the way..
On your mark, get set, GO!
So, on my first hour in NY, after 27 hrs of travel and transit, I was very warmly greeted at Apexart by Steve Rand, Julia Knight, Cybele Maylone & Julian Gilbert-Davis. Steve gave me the overview of the Apexart residency program, and noted that some may find it crazy but that it has a logic that unravels with time ;-)
Julia then took me to the residency apt. and ran me through the ambitious daily program that apexart has designed for me. A program that will keep me running for the duration of my 1 month stay in NY. (See below)
